“Another one?! Don’t joke around!”

Gale’s roar is drowned out by the rumbling of the earth.

However, Luke had a strange conviction.

The words once told to him by Kiel flashed through his mind.

― When the divine beast sealed on the island awakens, another one will also awaken ―.

“So it’s true. . .?”

As Luke and the others watched, the tremors assaulting the island grew more intense.

“Something’s coming out!”

At Gaston’s words, they turned to see a mountain on the opposite side of the island collapsing.

A gigantic something was beginning to emerge from the peak of the mountain.

“Is that. . . the Leviathan. . .?”

Luke swallowed hard as he watched the creature.

It had a strange shape, unlike any fish or lizard.

Perhaps it was closest to a lungfish in terms of form.

Although it resembled a fish, its pectoral fins had transformed into limbs like those of a reptile.

And it was terrifyingly large.

Its massive mouth was said to be capable of swallowing even a dragon in one gulp.

The divine beast known as the sea beast that swallows the world was even larger than the Kraken in terms of body size.

Compared to the Leviathan, even the Behemoth was only the size of a puppy.

“You’ve got to be kidding. . . We’re already having trouble with the Kraken, and now that thing shows up.”

Even Gale’s face was contorted in frustration.

The awakened Leviathan was straddling the mountain peak, surveying its surroundings.

There was no sign of any intent in its vacant eyes.

“Is it looking for something. . .?”

The Leviathan opened its massive mouth.

BOOOOOOOOOOO!!

A horrifying roar shook the island.

The shockwave from the sound alone caused Tyra to faint.

“What, what is this voice!”

The Leviathan’s roar continued without end.

And as if in response to that voice, the island shook violently.

“Whoa!”

Suddenly, Gale was blown away.

“What?!”

When Luke turned around, a gigantic arm was looming in front of him.

“Uwaaa!”

He managed to dodge the arm by leaping sideways.

“It’s already revived!”

Luke hurriedly assumed a defensive stance.

But something was off.

The Kraken was writhing its massive body, passing in front of Luke and the others.

“What’s going on? That thing isn’t even looking at us.”

“Could it be. . . heading towards the Leviathan. . .?”

The direction in which the Kraken was advancing, trampling down trees, was where the Leviathan was.

“Was that roar a threat?”

The Leviathan’s roar was still ongoing.

As the Kraken approached, it clearly began to sound more like a warning.

“Ha, isn’t that just perfect. If those monsters take each other out, it’ll save us the trouble.”

“That’s not good!”

The one who vehemently denied Gale’s words was Kiel.

 ㅤ

“If those divine beasts fight, this island will be destroyed!”

“I agree. If those two start fighting, I can’t even imagine the scale of the secondary damage. We have to stop them before that happens.”

Luke had another fear that he hadn’t told anyone about.

The earthquake hasn’t stopped since a while ago.

It seems that the magical power of the divine beasts is reacting to the vein of magic stones sleeping underground on the island.

If the divine beasts fight, the reaction will probably become more intense.

If that happens, it wouldn’t be strange for the island to collapse along with the bedrock.

If an island of this size collapses completely, the damage will reach the mainland where the Arrogas Kingdom is located.

In order to prevent a major disaster, they had to stop it here.

“But hey, how are we supposed to stop such a monster? We had a hard time with just one of them.”

Gaston’s words were reasonable.

It was troublesome enough with just the Kraken, but now there’s also the Leviathan.

“Fortunately, Kraken and Leviathan are distracted right now. I’ll try chanting the root magic again during that time.”

Luke started chanting again.

But even if the root magic works, it will probably only affect one of them. Luke didn’t know what to do with the remaining one.

Magical power began to gather around Luke again.

At the same time, light began to overflow from various places on the ground.

“What’s this?”

“It’s probably the light of the magic stones. It’s probably reacting to the magical power of the divine beasts and Luke’s magical power.”

Cyphos answered Alma’s surprise.

“Is it, is it okay?”

Luke, who was chanting, was also surprised.

It seemed that the entire island was being activated by the awakening of the two divine beasts.

(But thanks to that, I’m able to deploy magic better than ever before. This might. . . work!)

The magical power swirling and gathering at Luke’s feet was like a tornado of light piercing the sky.

“Hey, isn’t this a bit too much? They’re definitely going to notice this.”

Gale’s anxiety was becoming a reality.

The Kraken stopped its advance and turned around.

The Leviathan also stopped its threatening voice and looked this way.

Gaston’s face turned pale.

“Damn, this is bad. They’re looking this way.”

(Just a little more, the chant is almost complete)

Luke was desperately continuing the chant, but he was a little too late.

The Kraken raised its arm.

The Leviathan slammed its huge tail fin into the ground, causing its huge body to soar into the air.

“Uoooooooooo!!!”

Everyone was prepared for death in front of the two divine beasts falling from above.

“Hydooooooooon!”

 ㅤ

 ㅤ

Something suddenly flew and pierced the Leviathan.

The Leviathan’s massive body was blown away, dragging the Kraken into the sea.

The impact caused a huge splash that reached the sky.

“Wha, what? What just happened?”

Luke looked up at the sky in astonishment.

Amidst the falling spray, he could see a figure floating in the air.

“Hi, Luke. I came to help.”

Luke couldn’t believe his ears at that voice.

Why is she here? She shouldn’t be!

But there was no mistaking that oddly relaxed voice.

“Master?!”

It was Iris, who was supposed to be sealed in the mountains.
