โ€œFฤซna, how about you try being the Vice Captain?โ€

Luke spoke to me in the Commanderโ€™s room.

More accurately, he whispered in her ear.

After all, he was holding her lover sideways on his chair.

โ€œReally?! Are you sure?! But I wonder if I can handle it. . .โ€

Fฤซna shows joy but also hesitation.

Sheโ€™s a beautiful woman.

Her flowing black hair, her deep eyes that shine like obsidian, her body as if calculated by the golden ratio, her smooth skin like Eastern porcelain, all attract men.

Sheโ€™s the epitome of a beauty that could ruin a nation.

โ€œYou can do it. Even Lionel could do it.โ€

Luke laughs in a teasing manner.

A few days after that man left the Gold-lined Butterflies, Luke has been enjoying his time.

Because the nagging one is gone.

He would nag about getting a receipt when shopping, stopping drinking after the day changes, dressing like a clan leader, he was as nagging as a mother.

In the end, he even complained about my lover.

With the nerve of a single, lonely guy.

Donโ€™t flirt in the Commanderโ€™s room, donโ€™t give Fฤซna special privileges.

Well, he was probably just jealous.

The Gold-lined Butterflies is a clan he created. Lionel was indeed a member from the beginning and was a good right-hand man, but thatโ€™s all.

Heโ€™s not someone special.

โ€œBut wasnโ€™t Lionel amazing?โ€

โ€œHe wasnโ€™t incompetent. But there are plenty of replacements for him. There are so many you could sweep them away. But thereโ€™s no replacement for you, Fฤซna.โ€

Saying that, he brings his face closer and they share a deep kiss.

In the Commanderโ€™s room in broad daylight.

If Lionel had witnessed it, he would have been furious.

This is what can be done when heโ€™s gone.

Luke smirks to himself.

In fact, the members seem to be able to relax a lot more, so it was the right decision to fire him.

As he told Fฤซna, Lionel is not incompetent.

He notices the small details and is good at arithmetic, so he can be trusted with the management of the clan.

But thatโ€™s all.

Itโ€™s not that no one else can fill the gap.

โ€œSo. . . Iโ€™ll try my best. Will you help me, Luke?โ€

โ€œOf course. Itโ€™s best to put the Vice Captainโ€™s desk in this room.โ€

Saying that he can always lend a hand, the clan leader asks for another kiss.

When the veteran members heard that Fฤซna was appointed as Vice Captain and her desk was placed in the Commanderโ€™s room, some of them felt it was over.

Even if he favored his woman with a high salary, they could barely tolerate it, but when she became a middle Captain, they frowned, and when they found out she became Vice Captain, they were speechless.

Does our Commander think anyone can do the job of Vice Captain?

โ€œBut five years ago, when Vice Commander Nel left, he reflected on his actions and went to apologize himself. That man.โ€

โ€œThe situation is different now than it was then, Joshua.โ€

Nicole shakes her head at her partnerโ€™s optimistic interpretation, using his old nickname.

Both are the oldest members and one of the five middle Captains who support the core of the Gold-lined Butterflies.

In a word, they are comrades who have shared joys and sorrows.

They have been calling and admiring him as Big Brother, so their affection for Luke and Lionel is stronger than anyone elseโ€™s.

For them, Lionel leaving the Gold-lined Butterflies five years ago was a devastating event.

The leader and Vice Captain clashed over the clanโ€™s management policy, and one of them abandoned the group.

To be honest, many members were unsure about their future.

But Luke reflected that he was at fault and went to apologize to Lionel himself.

Joshua and Nicole were not present at the time. But they have heard about Lukeโ€™s sincere apology and Lionelโ€™s magnanimity in forgiving everything.

They were impressed by this.

The friendship between Commander Luke and Vice Commander Nel is truly unbreakable. No matter how high or thick the wall, these two could overcome it together.

Thatโ€™s an event that the veteran members are proud of.

โ€œThat was a problem between the Commander and the Vice Commander. But this time, thereโ€™s another person involved.โ€

Nicoleโ€™s voice is bitter.

Just the pronunciation of โ€œanother personโ€ is enough to express malice.

After all, how could they feel positively about the woman who has ensnared the person they look up to as their banner?

Sure, Luke isnโ€™t the smartest person.

Heโ€™s a fool, a lecher, and simple-minded. If you put it in a bad way, thatโ€™s what it would be.

But thatโ€™s just the flip side of his strengths.

He has the magnanimity to laugh off minor mistakes made by his subordinates, and even though heโ€™s a lecher, heโ€™s always played within bounds until now.

Being simple-minded, in other words, means heโ€™s brave and daring.

โ€œHeโ€™s impulsive and short-sighted. Thatโ€™s why he needed someone like Vice Commander Nel.โ€

Joshua shrugged his shoulders.

โ€œI want the Commander to apologize as soon as possible. Before it becomes an irreparable situation.โ€

โ€œThatโ€™s right. It might still be possible now.โ€

While nodding, Nicoleโ€™s eyes were filled with reservation.

Lionel had forgiven him once. Would he be such a sweet man to forgive him easily if he apologized again?

And is the situation really that sweet?

  1. Uhl says:

Of course Lionel is going to nag Luke like a mother. Luke needs a mother to keep him from destroying himself, that arrogant man-child!

But itโ€™s already too late. Even if Luke realizes it again this time, Lionelโ€™s had enough, and isnโ€™t going to come back just to be thrown out in a tantrum again.
