The Magic of “Analysis” Sees Through Everything – Chapter 166

The ship carrying Luke and his companions arrived off the coast of the remote Osten Island.

“We can’t go directly to the village port because it’s being watched.”

Tyra explained as they lowered the small ship.

The three who landed on the island proceeded through the forest.

“Kiel-neechan is locked up in a prison at the back of the village. We can’t go through the village, so we have to go around from the cliff at the back.”

“Wait, it looks like someone just passed through here.”

Luke stopped in the middle of the forest.

He put his hand on the ground and performed a chant, causing the footprints to emit a faint light.

Luke’s face tensed as he looked at the footprints.

“These are. . . Gaston’s footprints. And he’s brought his minions with him.”

“Shh, be quiet! He might still be nearby.”

Luke quickly covered Tyra’s surprised mouth.

Luke further examined the footprints carefully.

“There are six, no, eight people. . . From the distortion of the footprints, there’s no doubt they’re all armed. And they’re heading straight from the direction of the Rivasura clan village over there.”

“. . .That’s the direction of the prison! Could it be that Gaston is targeting Kiel-neechan?!”

“We should still be able to make it in time. Let’s hurry and stop them.”

The three of them started running, muffling their footsteps.

“Gaston, are you really going to kidnap Kiel?”

“Was it okay for us to come here on our own? The chiefs won’t be happy.”

“Shut up, if I say we’re going, we’re going!”

Gaston raised his voice at his anxious companions.

“That Errant guy, doing something ridiculous.”

Gaston gritted his teeth and marched through the forest.

He had heard from a close friend in the Kranken clan that Kiel was captured by Errant.

Even though the Kranken and Rivasura clans are currently in conflict, they are both inhabitants of the same island, and their relationship is more complex than it appears from the outside.

Even if they hate each other at the clan level, they have relatives and friends in common.

Despite the tense situation, they were almost completely transparent about each other’s circumstances.

“Listen, Kiel is said to be locked up in a prison under the cliff beyond this forest. I don’t care if there are guards, anyone who resists will be killed.”

“That would be a problem.”

Luke appeared in front of Gaston and his group.

“W, What the. . . Oh, it’s you from before!”

Gaston was startled by the sudden appearance of a figure, but when he realized it was Luke, he glared and attacked.

“I’m surprised you already know that Kiel has been captured. However, if you guys show up, things will get complicated, so could you please back off?”

“Don’t mess with me! Who are you to tell me what to do!”

“I thought you would say that. If persuasion doesn’t work, we’ll have to use force.”

Luke snapped his fingers.

But nothing happened.

“What the hell was that supposed to be?”

“Huh? Normally, this would put you to sleep. . .”

Luke makes a curious face while snapping his fingers.

In the meantime, Gaston and his group surrounded Luke and the others.

“Heh, what’s this 《Behemoth Slayer》? Isn’t it just a bluff?”

Gaston sneers as he glares at Luke.

“You probably wanted to act tough in a place where no one knows you, but you picked the wrong opponent. If you don’t want to get hurt, get lost quickly. We’re busy.”

“Hmm, I wonder if the residents of Osten Island have strong magic resistance. Maybe the rumor that they have demon blood is true.”

“Listen to me! Hey, you guys, immobilize these guys!”

At Gaston’s signal, his companions attacked all at once.

“So. . . strong. . .”

“What the hell are these guys. . . monsters. . .”

A few minutes later, Gaston and his companions were lying on the ground.

“Calling us monsters is rude.”

Alma dusts off her clothes while expressing her indignation.

Of course, she doesn’t have a single scratch on her body.

“Wow, Nee-chan is strong. . .”

Tyra also seems unable to hide her surprise, her face contorted.

After all, Alma took care of most of the attackers by herself. It would be impossible not to be surprised.

“I’m sorry for hurting you. But could you please back off? We will help Kiel.”

“Why are you outsiders so obsessed with Kiel. . . You humans the ones stirring up the Kranken clan.”

Gaston glares at Luke while writhing on the ground.

Even though he’s been shown the overwhelming difference in power, the fire in his eyes doesn’t seem to have gone out yet.

“That’s because Kiel is our friend.”

Luke casually answers while raising his left hand.

Healing magic heals the wounds of Gaston and his companions.

“More importantly, you said earlier that humans are stirring up the Kranken clan. Do you know something?”

“Know something? What are you playing dumb. . . No, do you guys really not know?”

Gaston, who was surprised at the expression on Luke’s face, soon sighed as if he was half-exasperated and began to speak.

“I can’t help it, since we’ve been beaten this far, we have no choice but to obey you, so I’ll tell you. The main cause of this time is that the Kranken guys monopolized the magic stone. And behind that, humans are pulling the strings.”
