The Chronicle of the Dungeon Master of Slaughter – A Reclusive Beautiful Girl Became a Dungeon Master, So She Pursues the Path of a Hikikomori – Chapter 6

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟔: 𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐥-𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭

Now, what should I do first when creating a dungeon?

It’s obvious that I should create floors.

There’s no need to think about it again.

Rather, if someone doesn’t understand this, I would doubt their intelligence.

After all, my new sanctuary, the dungeon, is still just a slightly larger cave.

I can’t call this a dungeon.

It’s just a cave.

A cave with a dungeon core, a beautiful girl, and living armor.

So, my first job was to create a new floor. . .but I ran into a problem right away.

I don’t have enough DP.

Unexpectedly short on funds.

I need 5,000 DP to add a floor.

If I convert all my MP to DP, it’s barely enough.

However, if I do that, I won’t be able to do any other enhancements.

Adding a floor only adds a floor.

It just creates a vast space.

There’s no maze, no traps, no monsters, just a large empty space.

How am I supposed to defend with this?

So, I gave up on adding a floor.

Or rather, I postponed it for later.

The day when a mere cave evolves into a dungeon is still far away.

I’ll save up DP and try again.

Instead, I decided to strengthen the only monster in this dungeon, the Living Armor-senpai, and the only floor in this dungeon, this room.

First, I poured all my MP into the dungeon core to secure 5,000 DP.

Then, I created a small room at the back of this room (price: 500 DP) and moved the dungeon core there.

Moving the dungeon core is relatively easy.

However, it’s only possible when there are no intruders nearby.

By the way, I also moved to the small room in the back.

As a dungeon master, I can check the situation inside the dungeon from anywhere, so there’s no problem.

And I applied a special setting called “Boss Room” to the entrance room (price: 1,000 DP). Expensive.

But this boss room system is worth paying 1,000 DP for.

The Boss Room is a system that sets a boss for the room, and as long as the boss is not defeated, it prevents even a single mouse from advancing to the next floor!

In other words, as long as the Living Armor-senpai isn’t defeated, my survival is guaranteed.

Amazing.

Moreover, it significantly increases the status of the monster chosen as the boss.

Specifically, it triples all stats.

Incredible.

Even with 1,000 DP, I still have change left.

Also, when the battle starts, the entrance closes, preventing intruders from escaping.

It’s like you can’t escape from the Demon Lord.

This is also appreciated.

If I let the intruders go alive, the location of the dungeon might become known.

That would be troublesome.

As far as my dungeon is concerned, it’s better if no intruders come at all.

Now.

Anyway, I have about 3,500 DP left.

From there, I used another 1,000 DP to fill the boss room with traps.

Pitfalls, hanging ceilings, extending floors, spiked walls, arrows from walls, guillotines.

For now, just these.

With just these, if I cooperate with the Living Armor-senpai, it should boast considerable killing power.

The more moves, the stronger.

Next is the Living Armor-senpai’s weapon.

It’s better to have a sword than to be barehanded.

It’s a knight-like armor.

It’s more natural to have a sword and shield.

So, I used 200 DP to create a [Steel Sword] and 800 DP to create a [Black Iron Shield], and equipped the Living Armor-senpai with them.

I allocated more DP to the shield because the Living Armor-senpai’s HP doesn’t naturally recover.

I wanted to keep the damage as low as possible, so I created a fairly high-quality shield.

Now, I have 1500 DP left.

If possible, I want to use this DP to further strengthen the Living Armor-senpai.

I want to enhance its status, and if I’m being greedy, I want to improve the material of the Living Armor-senpai itself to a higher quality metal.

the Living Armor-senpai is currently Living Armor (Iron).

Just changing it to steel like the sword would greatly improve its status, and I think it would become even more powerful if I changed it to black iron like the shield.

After appraising it in detail, it seems that the strength of the Living Armor monster is directly linked to the material.

However, I’ll have to swallow my tears and save the remaining DP.

Whether it’s steel or black iron, it would be quite expensive to produce enough material to construct a full-body armor.

It’s barely possible with steel.

A black iron body would cost 60,000 DP.

It’s even more expensive than adding a floor. . .

Even though the black iron shield only costs 800 DP.

I wonder why.

Is it because of the processing cost?

Anyway, I can’t afford it.

So, I’ll save this 1500 DP.

Since my MP seems to fully recover when I sleep, I’ll use it tomorrow to add and modify floors.

Strengthening the Living Armor-senpai. . .unfortunately, it’ll have to wait until next time.

It can’t be helped.

I’m holding back on things like building a bath, so I’ll have the Living Armor-senpai endure as well.

Still, with the enhancements so far, the Living Armor-senpai’s status has become like this.

I don’t have much to compare it to since I’m the only one around, but I think a defense power of four digits is definitely strong.

With this, it seems like it could defeat goblins without a scratch.

It’s very reliable.

Reassuring.

And so, I placed the Living Armor-senpai next to the dungeon entrance.

As long as the Living Armor-senpai isn’t defeated, no one will invade further, so I thought it would be better to have it in a place where it could ambush intruders as much as possible.

As for me, since I have nothing to do even when I’m awake, I decided to go to sleep quickly to recover my MP.

Just in case, I fiddled with the menu and set it to sound an alarm if an intruder comes.

Good night.

    What a reckless strategy…

What is she going to do if an enemy does swarm tactics and mob Armor-san to death with greater numbers?

She can at most make or repair an entire Armor-san per day at level 3.
