The Chronicle of the Dungeon Master of Slaughter – A Reclusive Beautiful Girl Became a Dungeon Master, So She Pursues the Path of a Hikikomori – Chapter 4

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟒: 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐬

Well, I can’t just sit here forever.

I try to stand up while suppressing my dizzy head. . .but it’s too much of a hassle, so I check the situation while still sitting.

First, I activate one of the dungeon master’s abilities, appraisal.

This ability, familiar from various light novels, has the same effect as it does in most of those novels.

That is, it allows me to see the target’s status.

Well, it’s limited to within the dungeon area though.

Using that, I first appraise the armor.

This armor, it’s a Living Armor.

It’s a pretty major monster that appears in quite a few works.

A moving armor.

For now, I check the information about the Living Armor listed in the menu.

It has no will!

It’s the perfect monster for me, who distrusts humans!

I’m a little concerned about the way they say “price,” but that’s a minor issue!

For now, when I appraised the detailed information of the Living Armor, I found out that inanimate monsters don’t have Lv, so they don’t grow, and their HP doesn’t recover automatically.

I was really panicked, but I was relieved to find out that I could solve that with DP.

Immediately, I used the remaining 30DP (probably, one goblin is 10DP, cheap) to repair the Living Armor.

It was fixed with 1DP because the damage was small, but since the remaining 29DP is odd, I decided to use it to enhance the Living Armor.

The defense increased by 20.

. . .I don’t quite understand how it increased.

But, Living Armor, price 4000DP?

I didn’t think I had that much saved up.

Living Armor. . .no, let me call you the Living Armor-senpai out of respect for you, my benefactor.

Before summoning the Living Armor-senpai, I had probably 12DP, which I think I got from natural recovery.

Excluding the 30DP I have (had) now, which I got from killing the goblin,

In other words, 12DP + the amount of magic power I injected converted into DP.

I must have used all of that to summon the Living Armor-senpai, which means I injected 3988DP worth of magic power at once.

If that’s the case, isn’t my magic power a bit too monstrous?

For now, I’ll appraise my own status.

I didn’t even need to use the appraisal function for this, I could see it just by chanting “Status.”

[𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐲]

Wait a minute.

There are too many things to point out.

First, my Lv has suddenly become 2.

But, well, this isn’t a big problem.

Probably, it’s due to the effect of the Living Armor-senpai slaughtering the goblins earlier.

Maybe it’s treated as if I was in some kind of party with the Living Armor-senpai, something like that?

I don’t know.

The abnormal fatigue. . .yeah, I can’t deny it.

I have no choice but to agree.

Is the amount of HP normal, I wonder?

I don’t know because I have no one to compare it with, but well, if you tell me it’s the status of Lv2, I can accept that.

The same goes for the other statuses.

However, MP and magic power.

You guys are no good!

Especially MP!

What, 4400?!

That’s 200 times my HP!

This is strange.

This is definitely strange.

Well, I don’t mind having it, in fact, I welcome it, but the thing about abnormalities is that they wear you down mentally just by existing.

Ah. . .I feel like my abnormal fatigue has gotten worse.

Well, anyway.

The fact that my MP is drastically reduced probably means, no, definitely means, that the magic power I poured into the dungeon core was my MP.

As a test, when I poured all the remaining MP into it, my DP increased by 12 points.

Apparently, 1 MP = 1 DP.

I could have guessed that.

Next, the unique skill called “Grand Magic”.

. . .Just from the name, I can’t help but feel that this skill is the cause of my excessive MP and magic power.

For now, display the details!

𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜

𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐏 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫.

As I thought, the culprit was Grand Magic.

But, good job.

I don’t know why I have such a thing, and I don’t like things I don’t understand, but

It’s not an exaggeration to say that I was able to summon the Living Armor-senpai thanks to this skill.

With respect, I’ll call you Grand Magic-senpai.

And then, the unique skill.

Only the chosen ones can acquire it, what’s with that chuuni setting?

My chuuni heart is throbbing.

I’m a hikikomori too.

I’ve read a lot of web novels in my spare time.

I’m equipped with chuunibyou as standard!

Well, leaving aside the wonderful fact that I might be a genius, let’s move on.

Next is the title.

“Hero”, “Otherworlder”, and “Mis-Transfer”.

I think this is probably the biggest point of contention, and the root of all evil.

𝐀 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐬 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧.

𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬.

As expected, there’s a mountain of things to point out.

First, the title of Hero.

What does it mean to be destined to fight the Demon Lord?

Isn’t that just a tool or a weapon?

Or rather, is the reason I have a unique skill because of this title?

So I wasn’t a genius after all.

I’m incredibly disappointed.

Or rather, what is the Demon Lord?

Who is God?

As for the title of Otherworlder. . .well, it’s reasonable.

If I dare to say, because of this title, it’s confirmed that this is another world.

And finally, Mis-Transfer.

Regarding this. . .honestly, it might be better to say I was saved.

Looking at the description of the Hero title, if I had been summoned as a normal hero without mis-transferring, there’s a high chance I would have been forced to risk my life to fight for the sake of mankind, which I absolutely hate.

Considering that, I think this situation was still better.

I am free.

“Haa. . .I’m somehow tired.”

I got really tired when I tried to cram a lot of information at once.

Once I feel tired, it feels like all the fatigue up to now hits me all at once, making it even harder.

I haven’t been awake for long, but I really want to sleep.

This sleepiness might be due to fatigue, or maybe it’s because my MP is depleted.

Anyway, in this state of fatigue, I probably can’t even think about the future properly, so I’ll leave the security to the Living Armor-senpai and go to sleep for now.

. . .The bed is uncomfortable.

After all, it’s directly on the rock wall.

I wish I had at least a futon.

As I was thinking about it, I found a futon and pajamas among the items I could summon.

The two together cost 30DP.

I don’t have enough.

I might not have had to use the DP I had earlier to strengthen the Living Armor-senpai.

As I was thinking about what to do, I noticed the corpse of a goblin.

. . .By the way, I wonder if that’s considered an item?

If so, I might be able to convert it into DP.

To conclude, I could.

When I converted all the three goblin corpses and the clubs and loincloths I had, it became exactly 30DP.

So, I immediately took off my blood-stained clothes, wiped off the blood on my body with the clean parts (it was hard to get off because it was crusty), changed into pajamas, got into the futon, and finally was able to sleep a little more comfortably.

Good night.
