They are different from regular monsters; they are grotesque beings.

Haruakira is not a native of this world.

He is, in essence, a person who has crossed over from another dimension into this world.

He came into this world wielding sorcery and the power to control Yokai.
In his original world, he was a sorcerer striving to become the strongest.

The Sorcerer King commanded the Yokai.

The Yokai are simply rampaging on their own.
