BANG! BANG!

With the consecutive gunshots, two more revolutionaries who had been moving towards the 2nd class passenger carriage where Oswald resided were shot down.

Only then did the revolutionaries, realizing that the situation was not normal . . . peeked their heads out from the 3rd class passenger carriage where they had been hiding.

Oswald did not miss the opportunity and pulled the trigger, lodging a bullet in the head of the guy who had just poked his head out.

‘𝘞𝘰𝘸, 𝘐 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯’𝘵 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 . . . . . . .’

If it hadn’t been for the Fate Points, he wouldn’t have been able to experience this in such an early phase.

At that moment, the enemies extended their revolvers and fired shots at him.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Oswald dodged the incoming bullets and entered the room again. A hail of bullets rained down towards his room’s entrance.

‘𝘐𝘥𝘪𝘰𝘵𝘴.’

If they kept firing their bullets like that, there would come a time when they would need to reload. In preparation for that moment, Oswald took out one of the magic bullets that he had received from his mother and loaded it into his Winchester.

A magic bullet imbued with an explosion spell.

It was an item worth 1 Gold, but . . . he couldn’t afford to care about that right now. He needed to get out of this place and move to a more advantageous position before more enemy reinforcements arrived.

Soon their gunshots ceased . . . and the moment he noticed it, Oswald kicked open the room’s entrance and aimed at the passageway of the passenger carriage where the enemies would be.

“Get them!”

Ta-ang!

As he pulled the trigger, a crimson magic circle formed at the muzzle of the Winchester, and the bullet flew through it while transforming into a crimson flame.

Shuaaak!

The flame soon exploded in the passageway of the opposite passenger carriage . . . and along with the powerful explosion came the sound of screams.

Kwaaang! Kwaaaak!

Hwarruk . . . . . . .

The explosion subsided . . . and Oswald quickly rushed towards the 3rd class passenger carriage. There were seven charred bodies remaining at the place where the explosion had just occurred.

A wave of nausea tried to rise within him . . . but he managed to hold it back with difficulty.

“Whew . . . . . . . Damn, I feel terrible.”

If it was a game world, it would have been fine, but when he recognized that this was a different reality with a game-like world, he couldn’t help but feel uneasy.

“Isn’t there any skill or stat that helps with these kinds of things?”

As he searched through the Fate Shop while hiding his body, three options caught his eye.

[𝐏𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐜 𝐔𝐧𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝]

[𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬: 𝟏𝟎𝟎𝐏]

[𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝, 𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐜𝐤.]

[𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐔𝐧𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝]

[𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬: 𝟏𝟎𝟎𝐏]

He purchased all three for 300P and invested 90P into each of them for a total of 270P, raising their levels to 10.

The feelings of disgust and revulsion that had been plaguing him instantly vanished, and Oswald quickly regained his composure. Soon, he heard the sounds of revolutionaries rushing towards his location after hearing the commotion, so he stood up without hesitation, holding his Winchester V10 and aiming it at the oncoming enemies.

‘𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘸 . . . . . . .’

He exhaled and pulled the trigger. With a bang, a revolutionary screamed “Ugh!” and fell down dead.

He pushed the lever to reload and pulled the trigger again, continuing the cycle of reloading, firing, and reloading, and quickly shot down ten more revolutionaries.

Since there was a possibility that there were still more revolutionaries remaining, Oswald cautiously advanced towards the 3rd class passenger carriage, his gun at the ready.

As he carefully moved forward, keeping his surroundings in check, the door to a nearby room opened, and a liberal revolutionary jumped out.

“Freedom for the people!”

Tatang!

Fire erupted from both of their muzzles. However, the liberal revolutionary’s bullet grazed Oswald’s ear, while Oswald’s bullet pierced the liberal revolutionary’s chest.

However, it wasn’t enough to kill him, so he stood up again and raised his gun. Oswald fired two more bullets at the revolutionary, who finally collapsed.

“I need to switch to shotgun shells.”

There was no bullet type more effective than shotgun shells when it came to close-range combat. Oswald quickly removed all the previously loaded bullets and loaded shotgun shells instead.

Then, he started moving towards the 3rd class carriage again, his gun pointed forward, ready to pull the trigger whenever an enemy popped out.

“GRYAAAAH!!”

However, contrary to his expectations, a revolutionary jumped out from the open room inside the passenger carriage and grabbed Oswald’s Winchester, pushing him towards the wall.

Oswald was caught off guard by the sudden attack and was pushed away. Although his strength level was high, it didn’t mean that his weight had increased, so there was no way he could resist being pushed away by someone who was using their entire body weight.

However, he immediately started resisting the attack, and soon his level 20 strength began to overwhelm his opponent.

“What kind of strength is this?!”

Eventually, he aimed a knee strike at the enemy’s exposed abdomen, and the enemy let out a cry of “Ugh!” and collapsed to the ground. He bent over like a shrimp and Oswald smashed the butt of his gun into the back of his head, knocking him unconscious.

“Over there!”

At that moment, the revolutionaries in the other passenger carriage spotted Oswald and attacked him with their revolvers.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Fortunately, their marksmanship was terrible, so despite being caught off guard, he was able to avoid their attacks and quickly dive into an open room. He could hear the revolutionaries approaching while providing covering fire.

‘𝘐 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦-𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘣𝘢𝘵 . . . . . . .’

It wasn’t a problem since he had loaded shotgun shells . . . but in case he had to engage in melee combat, he didn’t have anything that could subdue them in one blow.

‘𝘉𝘢𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘵?’
