First, he used 10,000P to increase his strength level to 30. Since it costs 1,000P to level up once from level 20, a total of 10,000P was consumed to reach level 30.

This made Oswald a superhuman. In terms of pure strength level, the only character who surpassed him was the protagonist, Gilgamesh. Now, he was on par with Gilgamesh in terms of pure strength.

‘𝘓𝘦𝘵’𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭.’

After that, he used 1,000P to increase his shooting level to 20, and also raised his senses, spirit, composure, and judgment to level 20. This cost him a total of 5,000P.

Then. . .

TING!

“Oh?”

I didn’t know it had this function. . .

He immediately used 1,000P out of the 2,000P to increase his eyesight to level 20. This allowed him to zoom in and see things as if he had a sniper scope.

He decided to use the remaining 1,000P in the Fate Shop to unlock additional skills or stats that would help him in battle.

After browsing for a while, one stat caught his eye.

[𝐀𝐢𝐦 𝐔𝐧𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝]

[𝐀 𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐩 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝.]

Being able to see the bullet drop indicator meant that he would know where the bullet would land, which was essentially the same as being able to see where the gun was aimed. This meant that he could shoot more accurately, and it also meant that he could snipe without a scope.

‘𝘖𝘬𝘢𝘺, 𝘭𝘦𝘵’𝘴 𝘣𝘶𝘺 𝘪𝘵.’

He spent 100P to purchase the Aim stat. It didn’t seem to change anything, but. . . when he took out his gun, a crosshair appeared slightly ahead of the muzzle, and a bullet drop indicator was also generated about 10m ahead of that. The crosshair and bullet drop indicator moved as he moved the muzzle of the gun.

‘𝘐𝘴 𝘪𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘪𝘵’𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭 1? 𝘐𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘥𝘳𝘰𝘱 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘳 10𝘮 𝘢𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘥. . .’

After spending 90P to increase the Aim level to 10, the range increased to 100m. Even better, an additional feature was added: a red beam of light shot out from the muzzle of the gun and connected to the bullet drop indicator.

In short. . . it was like being able to see the trajectory of the bullet with his own eyes. On a whim, he tried to think about an indirect shot and raised the muzzle of the gun, but. . .

‘𝘐𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘮𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘐’𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 1𝘬𝘮 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘵.’

He could see the straight trajectory up to 100m away, but. . . he couldn’t see the trajectory beyond that, so it seemed like indirect shots would still be difficult.

He still had about 740P left, but. . . he decided to save it for later since he didn’t need anything else for now.

“Now it’s time to buy the items I need to conquer the Troll King.”

He had a whopping 700 gold in his pocket. If 1 gold was worth 1 million won, then 700 gold was worth 700 million won($51,7611).

Since there was still some time before the train arrived, Oswald headed to the weapons market in Central.

This weapons market had blacksmiths who forged and sharpened blades like swords, as well as factories that produced regular bullets.

“Hmm?”

At that moment, he felt another strange presence. His eyes darted around, and he quickly spotted a person. Thanks to his enhanced eyesight, senses, and judgment, he was able to find someone who was watching him despite looking like an ordinary woman.

‘𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱𝘧𝘶𝘭. 𝘔𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘺, 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯?’

He was curious about their identity, but. . . there was no need to act rashly and arouse their suspicion. After all, as long as they didn’t know his purpose, it didn’t matter much if they followed him. If anything. . . he could just shake them off.

Oswald turned his attention away from the stalker and headed to the gunsmith he had learned about through the game. As the saying goes, this place had everything except for the kitchen sink. They sold all sorts of gun-related items, from bullets to accessories.

They even had consecrated silver bullets that were difficult to obtain outside of the Vatican, as well as holy magic bullets imbued with divine magic.

There, Oswald purchased 5,000 rounds of .45 caliber bullets, the standard ammunition for the Winchester V10. At 1 silver per round, this cost him a total of 50 gold.

However, since he had 700 gold, he wasn’t too worried about spending 50 gold.

He also purchased 1,000 rounds of .45 caliber buckshot in preparation for close combat. The buckshot cost 2 silver per round, so he spent 20 gold on it.

Next, he purchased 20 explosion magic bullets for 20 gold, and 100 magic missile magic bullets for 10 gold. After that, he purchased magic stones to equip on his Winchester V10.

The magic stone currently equipped on his V10 Winchester was an automatic charging gold-grade magic stone. It could fire ten explosion magic bullets and one hundred magic missile magic bullets.

Since it took a month to recharge the magic stone after it was completely depleted, he wanted to purchase additional magic stones to use during that downtime.

‘𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘳-𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 100 𝘨𝘰𝘭𝘥. . .’
