𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 『𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐡』, 𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐦
A demon beast has appeared.
Albero, Kid, Ashe, Lapis, and Yorha rush out from the house where they were resting.
At the entrance of the village, a battle has already begun.
Those fighting are the A-Class Summoners. With high spirits, they are thoroughly slaughtering the demon beasts.
Kid snorts.

A powerful presence. . . . . .It’s coming from the opposite direction of the village entrance.
Standing there is a tall, tan-skinned young man with white hair and horns. He’s wearing a jacket and boots.
He looks somewhat bored and yawns largely while looking at Albero and the rest.

The man narrows his eyes and yawns again.
Behind him are several large demon beasts. There are orcs, minotaurs, and even huge crocodiles and bats flying.

The young man━─Midgardsorm━─casually waves his hand, and the demon beasts start roaring and going berserk.
The ones who react to this are not Albero or Kid but Lapis.

Midgardsorm simply says, “Wow.”

He stands still, eyes wide open.
Following Kid’s gaze, Albero sees…

There’s a person floating in the air.
She has tan skin and is dressed in something resembling a swimsuit. A woman cloaked in a thin veil holds a large scythe and is smiling.
From the horns and her overall features, one can deduce she’s a demon.
And then━━Kid, trembling, laughs.

“Kid?! Hey!!”

Kid vanished in an instant with a leap.
It was an astonishing speed. Even Albero couldn’t keep up.
Yorha let out a loud sigh of frustration.

Yorha sprinted off.
Ashe and Lapis also started chasing after the rampaging demon beast.
And only Albero and Midgardsorm remained.

The true death of a Summoned beast━━that’s the cost of 『Total Assimilation』.
Maybe Mog could have been resurrected even after dying. But Mog abandoned that possibility and gave his life to save Albero.
Albero touched his right arm.

Midgardsorm yawned widely and lazily waved his hand.
Albero clenched his right fist and spoke to Midgardsorm.
