Kyrie is busy preparing for the feast, meanwhile.
Kumako was holding a meeting with the Holy Zodiac members Chatura, Anila, and Vajra.
ㅤ
Those present are old-timers who have been around since the era of the former Holy Demon King Ellison.
ㅤ
“Sorry for calling you all when you’re busy with preparations.”
“Why have you gathered us, Kumako?”
ㅤ
In response to Chatura’s question. . . . . .
Kumako looks at Vajra and says,

“I wanted to clarify. Vajra. . . . . .whether you really killed Ellison-sama or not.”
ㅤ
All the old-timers like Chatura claimed that Vajra had killed Ellison.
And Vajra herself also admitted to it.
ㅤ
“I’ve only heard of Ellison-sama through stories. I don’t know what happened in the past. But. . . . . .I want to clarify what you did.”

Kumako had not yet fully determined whether Vajra was good or evil.
While Kyrie seemed to unconditionally believe in Vajra. . . . . .
As the one responsible for overseeing the entire forest, Kumako couldn’t place the same trust in Vajra as Kyrie did.

Vajra didn’t seem to have any objections to being questioned.

“By the way, Chatura. Wasn’t organizing things like this your role? Why is Red Bear in charge instead of Fenrir?”

Chatura had been a bit too biased towards Kyrie and wasn’t effectively acting as the organizer.
Therefore, Kumako took on the role of coordinating things.

“The Hakutaku over there killed Ellison.”
“Don’t just give the outcome; tell us the details of hER death, Anila.”

In front of Anila, who is of the Demon King species and the forest’s most significant force known as Tyrant Dragon. . . . . .
Kumako speaks her mind clearly.
ㅤ
Vajra seemed impressed. Anila also liked Kumako’s courage.
ㅤ
“That was during Ellison’s later years. . . . . .”
ㅤ
And so begins the tale of what happened to Ellison.
