Time briefly rewinds to when Siwoo exited the gate.

“Hyung. . .what?”

Yoon Seung-gyu asked. However, Min Si-joon did not respond.

Ten years had passed.

The party that had attacked the 4th realm Demon King.

The fallen enemy.

The older brother who had disappeared in the beam of light emitted by the dying Demon King.

Min Si-joon and his older brother’s disciples had desperately searched for Siwoo, but they were never able to find him.

There wasn’t even a trace.

Even after requesting a missing person report from the World Hunter Association and asking all the close Hunters around the world, they had given up all those efforts 5 years ago.

That older brother was now moving on the small LCD screen.

“. . . . . .are.”

“Yes?”

A faint voice that could be blown away by the wind.

Yoon Seung-gyu had no choice but to ask again.

He had been assisting Min Si-joon for years, but this was the first time he had ever seen him like this.

“Issue a wanted notice. Mobilize everyone in the [𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝] to find him. Absolutely, positively do not try to approach him and say you’re Min Si-joon’s person. Quickly!!”

As soon as Yoon Seung-gyu left, Min Si-joon frantically racked his brain.

Where on earth could his older brother have gone?

He didn’t know where he had been or where he had come from.

However, one thing was for sure: he hadn’t been in Korea. If he had been, he would have come looking for him ages ago.

So, if he had come to Korea for the first time in ten years, where would he go first?

“Excuse me. . .”

Shin Ji-soo spoke cautiously.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t know you were still here.”

“Oh, no. I’m sorry that I couldn’t be of more help.”

Min Si-joon stared intently at Shin Ji-soo.

He instinctively felt that she was a kind and gentle person.

“That party, were you with my older brother when you finished off the boss?”

“Yes, actually I didn’t do anything and he did everything. . . Anyway, we did awaken together.”

“I see. You must have acquired decent skills since you came out sooner than expected.”

“I don’t know if it’s good or not. . . Anyway, I did get an A-rank skill.”

Shin Ji-soo replied modestly.

“An A-rank skill, huh.”

Min Si-joon instinctively tapped his calculator.

‘A-rank. The final evaluation hasn’t been done yet, but it’s better to secure it in advance. At the very least, she has the potential to become a B-rank Hunter.’

A Hunter’s rank is based on their skills and overall ability.

Even with just an A-rank skill, one could become an S-rank Hunter, and conversely, even with an S-rank skill, one could become an A-rank Hunter.

However, typically, an A-rank skill would make one an A-rank Hunter, and an S-rank skill would make one an S-rank Hunter.

“I see that you’re able to talk comfortably since you came out thanks to my older brother. I’m Min Si-joon from the [𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝]. We’ll meet your contract conditions as much as possible, so how about signing a contract with us?”

Min Si-joon handed her his business card.

At his sudden offer, Shin Ji-soo looked as if she was dreaming.

The [𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝], which all Hunters yearned for, and not just any employee, but Min Si-joon himself, was handing her his business card.

“Yes? M-m-me, the Imperial Guild? Really? Are you serious? If so, of course it would be an honor for my family—”

“Your approach is so gangster-like.”

Suddenly, another voice interjected.

A rough and gruff voice like that of a neighborhood gangster.

Min Si-joon was not surprised by the suddenness.

He looked at the owner of the voice with an expressionless face.

A dandy-looking man with bleached hair and a black suit that created a strange harmony.

Min Si-joon couldn’t get used to his appearance no matter how much he looked at him.

No one would think he was a Hunter.

“Hunter Ryu Ji-hwan. Choose your words carefully.”

“Oh—this. I’m sorry. I was too honest with you, senior. As you know, I have a very straightforward personality.”

“That you do. Even sewage has a top and bottom, so you should think before you speak. No sense of propriety.”

“Hahaha. I’ll do that. Se. Nior.”

Ryu Ji-hwan replied with a smirk on only one side of his mouth.

The two did not hide their murderous intent and anger towards each other.

The air was as taut as a string.

The moment one of them lost control of their mana, a terrible bloodbath would begin.

A confrontation between two S-rank Hunters was not simply a fight where they beat each other up, but an incident that would require an emergency alert to be issued for the entire area.

Shin Ji-soo could barely breathe.

The air was getting heavier by the second.
