━━Stella’s Perspective

After the battle with the Demon King’s Army, I returned to my hometown and found that a new house had been built.

It’s a house meant for Allan and me to live in together.

It seems Otou-san and the others were certain we’d come back together,

and they used the money they got from selling some of the magic items Allan had collected during his training journey—items that were useful but not for battle—and built the house.

“Stella-chan! Don’t worry about making noise, feel free to be lovey-dovey as much as you want!”

I still hear the words of auntie, and each time I remember, my face heats up.

This essentially means, doesn’t it?

A house without parents.

A newlywed young man and woman, all alone under one roof.

And to top it all off, there’s only one large bed in the bedroom.

By this point, anyone would get the intention of those uncles and aunties.

And there’s no reason for us to refuse!

Although Allan verbally said, “They’re meddling. . . . . .”, his face turned even redder than mine, and he keeps stealing glances at me, so he doesn’t seem to mind.

Rather, isn’t he really looking forward to it?

The journey back home was on a shared horse-drawn carriage with other people, and when we stayed at inns in towns, we were concerned about noise, so we couldn’t do anything then.

But now, there’s not a trace of such worries.

Teacher Ernesta!

Today, I’ll become an adult!

And so, the long-awaited first night since returning to our hometown has arrived.

“Uh, shall we. . . . . .sleep?”

“Y, Yeah!”

Both of us awkwardly get into the same bed.

Allan, who apparently overcame his shyness when he confessed to me, tightly hugs me in bed.

“!”

I hear Allan’s rapidly beating heart, which makes my already racing heart speed up even more.

Wrapped in Allan’s lean, efficient muscles, he feels strong.

Even though my physical abilities are far superior, it doesn’t matter. Being held like this, my heart races, yet I feel incredibly at ease.

I know I’m about to be “devoured” by Allan, yet I feel secure.

I’m certain that Allan will be gentle.

But I also kind of want him to be intense. . . . . .Oh, my mind is getting all rosy.

Will it go well?

Allan’s skillful, but he said he lacks experience in this regard. I’ve learned a lot from Teacher Ernesta through verbal instruction alone, so maybe I’ll take the lead. . . . . .

“Huh?”

While thinking about such things, I suddenly noticed that Allan’s heartbeats had strangely become calm.

Curious, I looked at his face. . . . . .There, I saw Allan sleeping peacefully, breathing softly.

“This guy!!!”

He fell asleep in this situation!

I can’t believe it!

I’m still heated and restless!

After declaring his love before the decisive battle, saying things like, “Do you want to get pregnant and leave the battlefield!”

I was thinking of how to even the score, but. . . . . .

“. . . . . .Such a childlike sleeping face.”

As I watch Allan’s sleeping face, my mood shifts.

When was the last time I saw Allan this peaceful, his face as serene as a small child’s?

Before becoming a hero, we slept together as children, but ever since he started seeing dreams of that previous world, he hasn’t shown such a peaceful face.

Come to think of it, he’s been on edge since that time.

Back then, I was skeptical about talks of dreams, so I didn’t feel a real sense of urgency.

But Allan considered his memories from the previous world to be, if nothing else, the worst kind of premonitions, and he was desperate to prevent them from coming true.

Although we joked and laughed together, he was always tense behind the scenes.

He was trying much, much harder than I was.

Finally returning to our hometown together might have loosened Allan’s tightly wound nerves, which could be why he’s sleeping so soundly now.

Once I realized that, I couldn’t bring myself to blame Allan anymore.

“Good work, Allan.”

I wrapped my arm around Allan’s back, continuing to stroke him as if soothing a child.

Allan’s sleeping face gradually relaxed, and while thinking how cute he looked, I too fell asleep.

And so, our first night ended without any particular mood.

I have no complaints.

At first, I was a bit confused, but in the end, I became happy knowing that Allan was finally able to sleep comfortably.

His sleeping face was cute too.

Yes, I had no complaints.

At least, not initially.

But!

But, you see!

“Isn’t it strange that the same situation has been going on for a whole month?!”

Right now, I’m venting with a drink in hand.

My feelings of affection for Allan’s peaceful sleeping face haven’t changed.

But it’s definitely strange to sleep in the same bed every day for a month and never have “that kind of atmosphere”!

“Am I not attractive or something?!”

“That’s not it at all! It’s Allan’s fault for being too timid!”

Auntie who was listening to my complaints negated my words with indignation.

Perhaps because she’s drunk too, she doesn’t hesitate to call her own son timid.

“I can’t believe it! To think that he hasn’t made a move on a cute girl like Stella-chan for a whole month!

I certainly didn’t raise him to be like that!”

After chugging down her drink in a fiery manner, Auntie looked at me with eyes full of conviction, just like Allan, and said,

“Stella-chan! We’re going shopping in town now!

I’ll share with you the ultimate gear that helped me snag my husband and led to Allan’s birth!”

“Ultimate gear?!”

And so, still riding the high of her tipsy enthusiasm, we headed into town.

We weren’t completely drunk, but there’s no doubt our spirits were lifted.

As a result, I ended up buying the “ultimate gear” I would’ve hesitated to buy if I were sober, all thanks to Auntie’s push.

And then, because some alcohol was still left in my system by nighttime, I put on the gear without any hesitation and waited for Allan.

And then. . . . . .

“I, It’s you?! What are you wearing?!”

In the nighttime bedroom, Allan was seen desperately covering his face, which was redder than ever.

Looking at Allan like that gives me chills.

While closing the distance with Allan, who had completely lost his composure, I pushed him down onto the bed and, relying on the difference in physical strength, grabbed the hand covering his face and moved it aside.

“Huh?!”

Allan tried desperately to close his eyes, but whether it was instinct overriding reason, he found himself staring fixedly at my chest, which was adorned in top-tier gear.

Ah, good.

Just as Auntie said, it seems I’m not lacking in allure after all.

“Hey, Allan.”

“W, Wha. . . . . .?!”

“You look incredibly cute right now.”

And also, incredibly delicious.

When I whispered that into his ear, it seemed like Allan reached his limit as steam erupted from his face.

Even more delicious now.

I can’t hold back any longer, and there’s no need to, right?

“Well then, let’s eat.”

“Hey, stop it!”

I thoroughly trampled all over them.

It was really delicious.

Satisfied!
