The Chronicle of the Dungeon Master of Slaughter – A Reclusive Beautiful Girl Became a Dungeon Master, So She Pursues the Path of a Hikikomori – Chapter 23

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟑: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭

Several days have passed since the Goblin Lord settled in the first layer.

For now, they haven’t made any moves.

They seem to be just enjoying themselves by doing unspeakable things to the large number of women they brought from their previous residence.

And every few days, a new goblin is born.

The newborn goblins are taken outside by their senior goblins, where they raise their levels and bring back food.

By now, they have completely established an ecosystem.

They’re using my sanctuary as a breeding ground. . .!

Although I feel unbearable anger, the Goblin Lord is too strong for me to do anything.

I’m even too scared to meddle with them.

Instead, I hurriedly strengthened the dungeon.

The only chance of winning against the Goblin Lord is the boss room and the Living Armor-senpai, so I spent half of my daily income on strengthening and saved the other half to increase my remaining chances.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, the income has increased thanks to the goblin horde led by the Goblin Lord occupying the first layer.

Now, I can get about 30,000 DP per day.

The breakdown is 20,000 DP from Grand Magic-senpai and 10,000 DP from the goblins’ rent.

The strengthening is going well.

By the way, the composition of the goblin horde is 1 Lord, 3 Champions, 10 Shamans, 25 Hobgoblins, and over 100 regular goblins.

It’s a large group that could almost form a village.

I wonder if someone will exterminate them.

No, if someone capable of defeating the Lord comes, that would be scary in its own way.

Several more days passed.

This time, the goblins that went outside started bringing back women.

I appraised the statuses of those women, but they were so weak that they would probably lose even to a regular goblin.

They would definitely not win against a Hobgoblin or higher.

I think they are probably non-combatants.

Like villagers.

Everyone’s clothes are tattered and hard to tell, but when I think about it, they seem to be dressed like village girls.

Of course, those women are used as toys by the goblins and usually die quickly.

I can tell they died because a small amount of DP comes in, even without looking at the monitor.

Apparently, their bodies can’t withstand the goblins’ atrocities due to their low status.

On the other hand, those with relatively high statuses, like the female swordsman who was there from the beginning, suffer and can’t die easily.

Hasn’t that female swordsman given birth to about 10 of them already?

Being enslaved, used as bait, and becoming a goblin’s breeding ground is too pitiful, and I can’t help but feel a little sympathy.

But I have no intention of helping.

After all, I hate humans.

Just as much as goblins.

Several more days passed, and finally, intruders other than goblins appeared.

Two pairs dressed like adventurers.

Either they foolishly entered without knowing that the goblins had taken over, or they were a small elite extermination squad.

If it’s the latter, I have to be cautious as well.

For now, appraisal.

Wow, they’re strong.

On top of that, both of them are true equipment users.

If I hadn’t seen the Goblin Lord, I would have been astonished.

Also, it’s the first time I’ve seen someone with a last name in this world.

The woman named Emilia is, well, not that impressive.

She is strong, and depending on the abilities of the true equipment, she might struggle a bit, but I think the current Living Armor-senpai can easily win.

In fact, at the point where she’s on par with a true equipment user zombie from when they were alive, it’s doubtful whether she can even beat a Goblin Champion.

On the other hand, the man named Denise is seriously strong.

He’s definitely the strongest among the humans I’ve seen so far.

Having all four-digit stats confirms that he’s a monster.

And he’s a true equipment user on top of that.

Even so, I don’t think he stands a chance against the Goblin Lord.

That thing is beyond a monster, it’s an anomaly.

Even the current Living Armor-senpai, who has desperately enhanced himself, doesn’t have a shred of guarantee that he can win for sure.

This man might put up a good fight if he uses his true equipment, but I think it’s game over if the Goblin Lord counters with his own true equipment.

. . .Huh?

At this rate, isn’t our dungeon safe as long as we leave the defense to the Goblin Lord?

Well, I don’t want a guard whose allegiance is uncertain.

While I was thinking about such things, the intruders proceeded to the depths of the first floor.

Now, let’s see what happens.

  1. Thanks for the awesome translations!!

  2. The Emilia is royalty right? She has the Wolfeus surname which is the kingdom the heroes are in, I think she will die then the king will send the heroes to clear the dungeon and also gain experience from it, idk
