My Children Swarm the Cosmos – Chapter 154

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟓𝟒: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐄𝐫𝐚 (5)

Kreion was able to gain knowledge about dark matter and dark energy by requesting it from the Believer. Then, he went to Lopez, gained more, and was able to return to the Hecartra star system.

His thinking had entered the realm of transcendence.

After a while, Ludwig’s ripples spread out across the massive collective consciousness.

➖Hear me, all leaders.

➖Our master has transcended further.

Upon his return, Kreion informed all the Chimeraz.

‘We will not redesign our sense of purpose or our way of thinking.’

Kreion, with his extraordinary thinking, was incomprehensible to ordinary beings.

His thinking had now reached a realm that was difficult to approach, even for beings who had transcended.

‘We will become an army of gods. That is the destination of our race, our ultimate goal.’

The dominance over the army that the leaders and Mindrockers possessed improved by leaps and bounds. Even a single Mindrocker could now exert a dominance over the army that was comparable to that of the previous leaders.

‘You are the Chimeraz. You are the minds that lead the Chimeraz.’

And the leaders came to exert dominance over the army that was comparable to the previous Berne, while leaders like Berne, Gorgo, and Ludwig, who had high dominance over the army from the beginning, saw their consciousness expand to an almost universal scale.

‘The ego and spirit that each of you possess are part of the Chimeraz. All consciousness is for our race.’

The abilities of the minds that made up the collective consciousness surpassed the speed of electricity.

The minds, Mindrockers, and Mind Repeaters of the colony formed incredibly fine gravitational waves, allowing the enhanced dominance over the army to be encompassed by the medium of waves.

The bio-planets scattered throughout the Chimeraz’s territory gathered these waves and constructed a more powerful network of waves, and the dominance over the army that began with Kreion enhanced the dominance over the army of the entire collective consciousness.

The leaders were all able to set foot in the realm of transcendence. They were following the path that Kreion had paved, one step behind.

The Hydras worked more efficiently, and the Xenotera that covered the surface became a ‘thinking fluid.’

The colony grew on its own, without the control of the leaders, and each leader was able to consider more things based on their increased dominance over the army.

In addition, Kreion had partially deciphered the black hole communication technology called ‘Creator’s Breath’ used by the Believers.

Their communication network was a technology that utilized part of the dark energy that permeated not only black holes but also most of the space in the universe, dark matter.

And it shared similarities with the latest ‘dark network’ that Lopez had spent 20 years researching and constructing at the center of the human galaxy. That was the clue for Kreion.

The collective consciousness came to ensure near real-time connectivity within a single galaxy, like the dimensional passageway of humans.

This did not mean that real-time connectivity to other galaxies was secured, but they could send very simple signals, like a beacon, with a delay of less than 12 hours, just like the Believers did.

🔷🔷🔷

October 2, 2621.

Three months had passed since the Le-orantarum Federation was dissolved.

The collective consciousness had established a highly superior communication network and decided to provide this network to other races as well.

Thanks to this, the Hecartra star system became a diplomatic center.

The Chimeraz, together with the Ririm, terraformed the barren planet in the 7th orbit of Hecartra into an environment that was beneficial to the majority of races. As a result, the 7th planet became a planet full of plants and animals with a blue sky and ocean.

The 7th planet of the Hecartra star system.

Petra.

It was a planet that had been terraformed to a level similar to Earth in terms of atmospheric composition, temperature, gravity, and so on. On this planet, many races entered a single large continent called ‘Pangea’ and established small civilizations.

Communication offices that borrowed the Chimeraz’s communication network, embassies that conducted transactions and communication between races, exchange offices that exchanged currencies between races, educational facilities and research institutes like universities for each race to gain experience, and small towns or villages for the members of each race who worked and lived in each facility formed their own civilizations.

Even without any special tourist facilities, just being in this place was a tourist attraction and a new experience.

If you traveled just a few kilometers, you would come across the Crolr’s energy research institute, and a few more kilometers from there, you would find the Reptured’s quantum computer city. If you left the continent and went to the coast, you would find the Aooa’s blue village, and if you went into the deep sea, you would find the jellyfish-like race building an underwater city in the hydrothermal vents.

If you climbed a high mountain, you would find the avian races of the Caycaconick and Conda bloodline building their nests like villages, and if you went further from there, you would find the colony of the tentacled Quakacor in the vast grasslands.

If you went deeper, you would find a colorful forest covered with Parahtoria mycelia, and beyond that, in the gorge, you would find the Chimeraz’s colony, where the Xenotera waterfall flowed.

If there was one place in the present day where you could experience the technologies and cultures of various worlds on a single planet, it would be Petra.

“Whew! Ha!”

The head of the Darwin Foundation.

Francis Darwin, who had just come out of the human embassy, took a deep breath.

“This is the taste of life! Don’t you think so?”

“The lives that humans pursue are all different, aren’t they?”

The one with Darwin was an artificial human in a gray suit. He was an employee of the Ark Corporation.

“But as a 2nd-generation artificial human, you’re not that different from humans, are you?”

“Biologically, there is little difference between me and humans.”

“You were born to two artificial human parents. I wonder if it’s right to define you as an artificial human just because you’re a 2nd-generation artificial human.”

“At least, the dominant analysis is that up to the 2nd generation, artificial humans are closer to artificial humans than to humans.”

“Is there a 3rd generation?”

“Not yet. Even I am quite old among the 2nd-generation artificial humans.”

“You said you were 19? Then, to have a 3rd-generation artificial human born, it’s still a long way off. Still, by the 3rd generation, I think it would be appropriate to call them humans, not artificial humans. Haha.”

“That is a matter that requires more research specimens, and it is not something I can decide.”

“You’re so stiff. I’m just saying. Let’s go.”

The Ark Corporation employee boarded the same vehicle as Darwin.

A small humanoid was waiting in the driver’s seat.

“Where would you like to go?”

“Drop this person off at the Ark Corporation’s Petra branch, and I’m going to the gorge.”

“There is no road after passing through the Conda bloodline’s village, so we will charge the vehicle’s energy at the Crolr’s energy research institute and then switch to flight mode.”

“Can’t we just cut through the Quakacor’s colony? It’ll make the route a bit longer.”

“The Quakacor colony has not yet permitted flight over their territory by other races.”

“They’re part of the same collective consciousness, why are they so strict?”

“Rather, the Chimeraz, the Ririm, and the Hyraguroa are the unusual cases. It is generally the case that races with collective consciousness are exclusive to other races.”

Then, the Ark’s artificial human asked.

“Are you going to the gorge where the Chimeraz colony is located?”

“Yes. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Kreion. Haha.”

“Does he come as soon as you call him?”

“No, no. Even I make an appointment 3 weeks in advance to meet him. It’s very important.”

🔷🔷🔷

Darwin’s vehicle stopped at the entrance of the gorge.

Two Elites, each carrying a pair of Levitation Weapons, approached the vehicle.

Ziiiiing.

The windows of the driver’s seat and the back seat simultaneously rolled down.

“Ah, ahem. Nice to see you. My friends.”

“. . . .”

The two Elites looked back and forth between Darwin’s face and the small humanoid.

“You know them?”

“. . . .”

His face was soon a pass. The two Elites exchanged glances and quietly moved out of the way.

The vehicle started moving again, and the gorge became deeper and deeper. The unknown Chimeraz structures attached to the cliff were connected by tentacles, and each of them seemed to pulsate like a heart.

Darwin saw Chimeraz that he had never seen before in his life, crawling on the walls or flying over the gorge like crows.

As a group of Hydras dug through a cave, various terrestrial creatures focused their gaze on Darwin’s vehicle.

“It’s a little scary to be in the middle of a colony.”

“But aren’t they living beings that Administrator created himself?”

“I didn’t make them. Not anymore. . . .”

“Were you nervous?”

“You little brat. There’s no one else who wouldn’t be nervous coming this far except for him.”

Soon, Darwin’s vehicle stopped in front of the colony.

Darwin got out of the vehicle with only one bodyguard, a small humanoid.

Clatter, clatter, clatter. . . .

Beast-like creatures walking on thick, four legs were abundant around the colony. Their densely exposed teeth on the outside looked incredibly ferocious.

“Oh. . . . That’s what they were talking about.”

“They are Mindrockers.”

Kreion walked up next to Darwin.

Ludwig was with him as well.

“Kreion! How long has it been?”

Darwin’s eyes widened as he walked towards Kreion.

“Ha, let’s hug!”

Swoosh. . . .

Ludwig stepped in front of Kreion and gave him a wary look. Darwin froze on the spot, taken aback by his large, red one eye.

“It’s okay.”

➖Does this insignificant creature dare to embrace the master. . .?

‘He helped me create me, and he was the first human to reconcile with me. Whatever his purpose was in the past, at least he is a human who is sincere to me now.’

➖I don’t like it, but. . . I understand. . .

Ludwig exuded a faint sense of jealousy and stepped back behind Kreion.

Darwin forced a smile full of embarrassment and held out his hand.

“Let’s just shake hands? Haha. . . . I was just so happy that I. . .”

“Let’s do it.”

Kreion shook hands with Darwin. Darwin was so touched while shaking hands with him that he used both hands to shake his hand.

“Do you remember? We. . . . We promised to leave hope for each other. I can’t tell you how much I’ve been waiting for this day.”

“You lost Apoptology, became an international criminal, and were suddenly reevaluated as a hero. You must have suffered a lot during that time, Chief.”

“Ah, no! No! You suffered much, much more! What I went through wasn’t even suffering!”

What Kreion felt as he watched Darwin’s reaction now was unexpected.

It would be a bit difficult to explain it because it was profound, but to put it simply in one sentence, it would be this feeling:

‘The emotion that the Believers feel when they see Le-orantarum Owron. . . .’

In the end, Darwin just wanted to make his life better and did his best as an individual. There were things that Darwin couldn’t help, and there were times when the situation went bad because of the beings above him, no matter how careful Darwin was.

Darwin was doing his best while being used. Kreion knew that he and Darwin had somehow reversed their relationship, and Darwin would know that too.

So, for some reason, he felt a broad delusion that Darwin was pitiful.

However, if what he felt now as he looked at Darwin was the result of taking the steps of transcendence, he would gladly accept it as a being who had ascended to a higher dimension.

“Would you like to go inside and talk?”

“Where to. . .?”

“I’ve prepared a seat in the colony.”

“Colony?!”

Being able to enter the colony was a fantastic thing for Darwin.

“Of course I’ll go in! It’s a precious seat prepared by the ruler of the Chimeraz! Hahaha!”

🔷🔷🔷

A table and chairs made of unknown black minerals.

On the ceiling, glowing Gloworms were quietly attached, and a few Elites came in and placed something like teacups.

“Hey. . . . Am I the first person to enter the colony?”

“Excluding human resources, you are the first, Chief.”

“That’s amazing. It’s amazing.”

Darwin picked up the teacup on the table.

It was a liquid with a pinkish-transparent color and a faint floral fragrance.

“What is this? It’s a fragrance I’ve never smelled before.”

“It is a tea made from the berries brought from the Land of Aboriginal.”

“The Land of Aboriginal? Surely that’s the capital of the Ririm, right?”

“Yes.”

“What was the scenery like there? People say it’s like a paradise in mythology.”

“Overall, it is an environment similar to the Heavenly Land. However, it is a place like a relic of nature, where the ruins of the past Crolr are covered with the Ririm, and it is full of vitality.”

Darwin brought the tea to his mouth without hesitation.

After his tongue tasted a bit of bitterness, the fragrance that spread throughout his mouth seemed to change his breath itself as it traveled up his windpipe and nostrils.

It was a fragrance that was not too strong, as if he had buried his nose in the head of a flower and inhaled it as much as he could, but it was a fragrance that he had never smelled anywhere else.

“I want to import it! This is something that would sell like hotcakes, not as tea but as a processed perfume.”

“Do you think it would sell better if it was sold as a perfume?”

“Stop nagging. Maybe it would sell well if it was processed as a spice. This is the level of fragrance that you can savor the smell. The Ririm really has a lot of natural treasures.”

“If you wish, I will arrange for you to meet the Ririm after this meeting. If you make a deal with the Ririm and sell this fragrance in the human world, wouldn’t it be of great help to the operation of the foundation in the future?”

“Do I deserve to receive that much? I didn’t really do anything for you. . . . Rather, if I did something bad, I did something bad. . . .”

“It’s all over now.”

“I’m just stretching my legs now. Because I’ve been reevaluated, I’m being treated like a great man who foresaw the troubled times. It’s all thanks to you. Kreion. I owe you so much.”

“If it weren’t for the Chief, the Chimeraz wouldn’t exist today. Apart from that, nothing else matters between you and me.”

Those words alone captured Darwin’s deep heart.

Kreion had completely captured Darwin’s heart with such deliberate remarks.

“I want to rebuild Apoptology here. . . . in Petra’s geostationary orbit. That’s why I came to you.”

“I’m listening.”

“I want to experiment, study, collect, and improve the environment of the Chimeraz and the wild creatures by establishing Apoptology here. If our foundation creates research results and superior specimen creatures here and returns them to the Chimeraz, wouldn’t it be helpful to you as well?”

“If Darwin Foundation analyzes my children, it will help strengthen the legion, not just the Chimeraz.”

Darwin gained confidence.

“Then let’s sell it! We buy the raw materials from the Chimeraz and sell the finished products back to the Chimeraz. It’s like secondary processing, right? We’ll make money, and you’ll have the results that will help you complete more superior creatures!”

“Wouldn’t that be a disadvantageous deal for the Chief? If you build Apoptology and operate it here, there won’t be much net profit. Above all, the wild creatures experience rapid evolution and degeneration, changing more than half of their genetic blueprint every day. It is difficult to obtain research results that will generate profits.”

“I don’t have to receive the profits only here.”

“It is a bit difficult to sell research results to other races.”

“Is it okay to sell it to humans?”

“Humans. . . .”

“Didn’t you join hands with him anyway? Then it’s the same as joining hands with humans.”

Because humanity is in the palm of his hand.

“The Anti-Chimeraz Field Manual is very popular now. It used to be a closed document that only soldiers and commanders read when the Chimeraz and humans were hostile.”

“Why did it become popular?”

“Things have changed now. Would you believe that the Chimeraz has fans?”

“Fans. . .?”

“Gorgo is the most popular. Then, Rundalt and Ludwig are popular in that order. Talking about these leaders and sharing stories about known Chimeraz individuals has become a kind of culture.”

“It’s hard for me to understand.”

Even if it was difficult to understand, he understood what it meant.

“The Anti-Chimeraz Field Manual provided by Darwin Foundation is interesting to read. Its cultural ripple effect is similar to that of collective consciousness creating secondary creations. Novels, games, paintings, virtual worlds, and the Chimeraz and surrounding races are being referenced in various places.”

If the Chimeraz had really been a monster race with a notorious reputation, it would have been impossible for them to exert such cultural influence.

“Just as human creations are widely spread in the Local Group of Galaxies. Now, the Chimeraz has come to lead the culture alongside humans. Of course, that’s not what you were aiming for. . . . The world tends to admire the strong, regardless of the intentions of the strong.

“If the Chief’s Anti-Chimeraz Field Manual increases its reliability and accuracy, the demand will increase even more.”

“If we add advertisements and paid services to that, it’s game over. The foundation’s profits will be covered there. This seems like a fair deal, what do you think?”

Kreion and Darwin’s conversation continued.

After that, Apoptology began to be constructed in Petra’s geostationary orbit, and Gnox was to enter Apoptology and become the connecting bridge between the Chimeraz and the Darwin Foundation.

🔷🔷🔷

October 5, 2621.

Kreion and Anima are preparing for the future in the dark nebula.

“I’m sorry. I’ve been busy all the time, even though the Federation has been reorganized.”

“Don’t apologize. I understand everything about you. And now, you’ve finished everything that was busy, right?”

In the dark nebula, hundreds of fetus-like creatures the size of asteroids were floating.

“We need a name to classify them in the collective consciousness.”

“Thinking about their role, there is a name that goes well.”

“What is it?”

“Voyager.”

They were the void explorers who would travel forever between galaxies and interstellar space and beyond the Local Group of Galaxies to send information to the Chimeraz.
